It started with a photo my mom loved.
She said it would look beautiful as a painting. So I built a way to make it happen.
I've been into photography for most of my life. One day my mom saw a photo I'd taken of her with her auntie and my siblings. She kept going on about how beautiful it was.
Then she said something that stuck with me:
“This would look fantastic as a painting.”
I'd been teaching myself to code and building my tech skills for a while. And I thought: what if I could actually make that happen? What if I could turn her favorite photo into a real painting and surprise her with it?
That was the birth of Canvas Memories. Built to surprise my mom with a gift I knew she would love. Something with unique sentimental value, made specifically for her.
The look on her face when she saw it is why this company exists.
